FutuRe cOmmunication NeTworks (FRONT) Research Group is part of the Institute of Informatics and Telecommunications of the National Center for Scientific Research Demokritos (NCSRD).
The mission of FutuRe cOmmunication NeTworks is the advancement of B5G/6G networks through softwarisation, which refers to the transition of network functions from conventional hardware-based solutions to software-based ones. This evolution provides a variety of enabling technologies for flexibility, programmability and sustainability, which enriches the provision and development of innovative vertical services.
